Spreading the Love (C21 British Evangelism?)

Continuing thoughts on 21st Century Evangelism…

Are these the ‘Most Successful’ forms of evangelism in Britain 2day:

  • Alpha Course (what is it about this form of evangelism that appeals to our time?)
  • Emmaus and other courses (similar format to the alpha course)
  • Soul-in-City, Message 2000 + Festivals (1000’s of youth descending on area for weekend with skateparks, cafes, dj’s, bbq’s, kidz clubs and the works)
  • Servant Evangelism (painting parks, mowing lawns etc)
  • Great Giveaways (easter eggs, mars bars, whatever with stickers saying ‘Jesus loves you’ + the like)
  • Fun Days (free bbq, bouncy castle, face-painting, circus-skills, football and stuff for families)

Any comments on these? Anything else going on?

What are your thoughts on the following ’evangelistic methods’?

  • Tract Distribution
  • Door-2-Door
  • Tent Crusades
  • Bible Distribution
  • Street Preaching
  • Revival Meetings
  • Church Rallies/Conventions
  • One-2-One Evangelism
  • Power Evangelism
  • Healing Meetings

Where do we go from here?

How can we ‘Spread the Love’ across Britain?
