Spreading the Love (C21 British Evangelism?)
Continuing thoughts on 21st Century Evangelism…
Are these the ‘Most Successful’ forms of evangelism in Britain 2day:
- Alpha Course (what is it about this form of evangelism that appeals to our time?)
- Emmaus and other courses (similar format to the alpha course)
- Soul-in-City, Message 2000 + Festivals (1000’s of youth descending on area for weekend with skateparks, cafes, dj’s, bbq’s, kidz clubs and the works)
- Servant Evangelism (painting parks, mowing lawns etc)
- Great Giveaways (easter eggs, mars bars, whatever with stickers saying ‘Jesus loves you’ + the like)
- Fun Days (free bbq, bouncy castle, face-painting, circus-skills, football and stuff for families)
Any comments on these? Anything else going on?
What are your thoughts on the following ’evangelistic methods’?
- Tract Distribution
- Door-2-Door
- Tent Crusades
- Bible Distribution
- Street Preaching
- Revival Meetings
- Church Rallies/Conventions
- One-2-One Evangelism
- Power Evangelism
- Healing Meetings
Where do we go from here?
How can we ‘Spread the Love’ across Britain?
